Competition categories:
The competition categories are separated in 3 levels :
A level : children up to 12yrs old.
B level : individuals up to 17yrs old.
C level : adults, college students.


If your team consists of varied age members, you will compete in the category your oldest competing member belongs to (ignoring your team’s consultant’s age). For example, a team with 4 members, aged 8,14,17 years old and a consultant who is 30y will compete in B level.

Lego Line Following
The goal is for the robot to always move within the racecourse following the black line as quickly as possible.

Line Following
The goal is for the robot to always move within the racecourse while following the black line as quickly as possible.

Engino Line Following
The goal is for the robot to always move within the racecourse following the black line as quickly as possible.

Lego Sumo
The robot has to push its opponent robot out of the ring.

Mini Sumo
The Robot Sumo will have to push its opponent out of the ring.The robot’s max measurements must be 10x10x10 centimeters.

Enhanced Line Following
The task for line following robots is to drive through the track marked with a black line as fast as possible. Two robots are competing alongside each other on parallel mirrored tracks.There are obstacles on the track.

Folkrace
Five robots race in a rally track at the same time, on an inclined track with a lot of turns. The goal is for the robots to complete as many laps as possible and accumulate the most points.

Colour Picking
The track is filled with cubes of various colours, with different values of points given to each colour. The goal is for the robot to gather the cubes that lead to the highest total sum in a specific area.

Maze Solving
In this competition, the mission of the autonomous Micromouse (robot) is to negotiate a maze from a specified corner to its centre in the shortest possible time.

Lego Maze Solving
In this competition, the mission of the autonomous Micromouse (robot) is to negotiate a maze from a specified corner to its centre in the shortest possible time.
Educational Robotics-Firefighting
The goal is to create the most original robot on the topic of firefighting.

Entrepreneurial Challenge
In Entrepreneurial Challenge people have to present their innovative , working robotic  product, solving a real world problem that customers would want to buy. The goal is to get the most  upvotes from the visitors of Robotex, and win money.
